Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano is supporting the LI Works Summer Intern Program.

Long Island Works Coalition is a non-profit that helps prepare today's students for tomorrow's workforce through collaborations between business and education.  Nassau County is working with LI Works on one of its key initiatives--Summer Internships-- which helps businesses obtain a skilled workforce and gives students real work experience.

LI Works has a free database with over 8,000 students seeking internships with Long Island companies. Those students range from college graduates to high school juniors. These prospective interns are interested in working for your business. Some will work without pay for school credit and others will require modest stipends. Their fields of interest are broad-based, including business, healthcare and green energy and environmental programs. The LI Works database currently has students looking for summer internships and can be accessed at www.liworks.org.  .
